The Mac app is completely free.

The iOS app costs $2.99. There is no subscription or any other fees. Use it for as long as you want with no extra cost.

What are the System Requirements?

The Mac app requires MacOS 13.0 (Ventura) or newer.
The iOS app requires iOS 16.4 or newer.

What is your privacy policy?

We don't collect any user data. There is no registration or login.

Where are my Snippets and Clipboard History stored? Do you have access to my data?

All your Snippets and Clipboard History are stored on your device, and if you choose, synced to your private Apple iCloud account. We do not have any access to any of your data.

Why is the app asking to "control this computer using accessibility features"?

This is required to allow Cloud Snippets to paste your snippets and clips into other apps. The app will still function without this permission but you will need to paste manually (Command+V) after selecting the snippet or clip from the Paste Menu (Shift+Command+V).

What kinds of things are useful to have as Snippets?

Any kind of text that you use often or would like to keep close at hand including:
-Addresses
-Account numbers
-Email templates
-Common text messages
-Code blocks
-Any other bits of text you're frequently having to type.

Why is it helpful to keep my Clipboard History?

Normally in MacOS, you can only keep one item in the clipboard at a time. If you copy another item before you pasted the first one, the first will be lost forever. With Cloud Snippets, you can copy many items and paste them all at a later time.

For example, say you wanted to copy 10 different quotes from a website and paste them into an essay. Normally, you'd have to copy one quote at a time and go back and forth between app windows or browser tabs. With Cloud Snippets, you can just copy all 10 quotes from the website and paste all ten into the essay in one go.

It can also be useful to have access to something you copied a while back and may have even forgotten where you got it from.
